NCLEX-RN stands for National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.

NNAS is responsible for verifying and authenticating the education, licensure, and registration of internationally educated nurses (IENs) who apply to become registered nurses in Canada. NNAS evaluates and provides a report of the applicant's education and experience, which is then used by the provincial and territorial regulatory bodies to determine eligibility for registration.

The documents required for the Canadian Nursing Licensure application vary depending on the applicant's education and experience but generally include transcripts of nursing education, proof of identity, and evidence of language proficiency.

The Canadian Nursing Licensure application process can take several months to complete, depending on the complexity of the application and the time it takes for supporting documents to be verified. Applicants should plan ahead and submit their applications well in advance of any registration deadlines.

Once the US RN application is approved and the applicant has passed the NCLEX exam, they will be eligible to apply for a nursing license in the state in which they wish to practice. Once licensed, RNs must maintain their licensure through continuing education and adherence to state regulations and standards of practice.
